I eat 4-6 small meals a day, it naturally boosts the motabilism. Shakes are great as long as your doctor has suggested them to you, most doctors advise Optislim VLCD as it is the medically proven one with the correct range of nutrients, carbs, amino acids, protien that the body requires for weight loss. But hey, if you know the one you are on has been medically suggested then all is good Just remember to wean yourself off the liquid as the body is not naturally designed to digest food in a liquid form on a regular consistant basis, you will lose the KGs (and rapidly) but you will need to manage it carefully as results show that a great percentage of people on liquid diets gain back the weight, plus more because the body had gone into a starvation mode and reacts to harvesting fat into your fat cells at a rapid rate.
