Hi Shelley,
My Dr does have me on a list to see a nutritionist but I’ve yet to hear from them. The wait times I find for follow up appointments and especially any specialist is extremely long here. I will kick up a bit of fuss next appointment as the last two she said she’d follow up on getting it scheduled.
I don’t have horrible eating habits, we eat healthy but I crave carbs when I’m stressed. Potatoes, Pasta, Breads and maybe salty chips. I’m not into sweets which I guess is good, one less thing to worry about. Hopefully I can get my GP to understand this little boost goes along way in helping with cravings and getting back on a better way of eating. Getting habits set while on the medicine and having that kickstart.
Hi MissyAnne,

How are thing going, did you talk to your GP?

I know what you mean about Carbs, I love them, maybe a little too much, unfortunately I also have a sweet tooth, so double whammy. LOL

I have had zero lollies in 20 days, so yeah, and I am reducing my carbs a little bit, mostly for me it's about portion size. My husband is the cook in our house and he also serves, (I clean the insane mess he makes in the kitchen LOL :))

So I am focusing on eating smaller size meals.

Cheers
Shelley

Hi Shelley
I did go back and I got my prescription just a couple of days ago! So I have the Duromine 30 for three months. I took Phentermine back in the states and it worked really well at helping me much start eating less and keeping me from snacking mindlessness lol. So I’m hopeful it will help this go around. I hear you on portion size. I came from a family that loved cooking and eating and plates were always full. I always cook for an army even though now it’s just my husband and I. I’m trying hard to just cook for two and aim at little to no left overs . Also not filling the plate up but being mindful. Carbs too, like you said, lowering them. I just hope I’m successful. I’m about sick and tired of this extra padding I don’t need lol

Hi all :)
I was just directed here from Facebook, on a Duro page.
I’m Jess!
I’m currently on 15mg and started in August of last year. My starting weight was 114.9kgs and as of today I’m 86.9kgs. I’m flabbergasted. I’ve always struggled with my weight, so it’s crazy to see how far I’ve come!
Anyway, it’s great to be here! I look forward to chatting with you all and sharing any advice or info I can :)

❤️

Hi All
I’m new to this group so just wanted to say hi!
I’m currently 85kg and 159cm tall- my weight has been slowly piling on for a few years and I’ve hit a low point and want to start living a healthier life
My goal weight is 65kg by the end of November so I’d love to hear from people who have managed to do something similar

Hi, dear! I'm so happy to see new faces on the forum. A BIG BIG WELCOME from our administration :sun::kissing_heart:
IMO, you've put a realistic goal and you can achieve this by changing your eating habits a bit and adding a bit of fitness to your daily routine.

We have a lot of people, who managed to get rid of 15, 20, 40, or even more kilograms with Duromine.
One of the recent inspiring posts was shared by @SlimStephen: https://nevergiveupteam.com/community/threads/ive-lost-21-8kgs-in-14-weeks-with-duromine.16419/

Good luck on your weight loss journey!!
