Dry Mouth..

Has anyone experienced a dry mouth on Duromine? This is the only side effect I have, & it's driving me insane. The only thing that helps is sucking on a cough lolly, but I don't want to do this as its just sugar. Drinking helps for a whole 30 seconds then I'm back to needing more water.

Any suggestions?

Hello, Bexx.
If you read the forum carefully, you'll see it's actually a common side effect everyone of us used to have. No big deal, just drink more water. Maybe a lemon/lime juice added to water helps a bit better to eliminate your dry mouth.
Good luck.

You could try sucking on ice chips. You'll get the hydration you need without feeling water logged from drinking heaps of water at once. My dry mouth comes and goes but I find as long as I keep up my water intake, I'm okay.

Using a "dry mouth" mouthwash morning and night seems to ease this a little, as long as drinking plenty of water. The more hydrated I am, the less I suffer from dry mouth.

What about the dry mouth sprays? Has anyone tried them? I hope this isn't one of the side effects I have on it but I guess it'll make me drink more water. Something I don't do right now. But then I might need to pee more? lol

Lots of water does help.. but I was addicted to water before this. My fear is I am now putting too much water into my system..
I used to drink almost 3l per day.. I am now almost at 5l per day.
Monday I started going back to 3l and made sure I had mints handy in case...
