I didn’t do much exercise the first time. I worked full time and was pretty much on my feet all day anyway, but with more energy!

This time, I took D for a week, stopped because I was umming and ahhing a bit. Came back a week later and dropped 3kg within a good week. So I’m officially on week 2 now, but I haven’t weighed myself this week. I’ve been growing a bit on an appetite which I find strange, so I’ve been eating properly so I can have some energy. I don’t want to go thru the ugly fatigue phase and I’m sure that happens when I don’t eat!
@GetSkinnyAgain Do you go to the gym or you exercise at home?

No, unfortunately no time with two little kids. A brisk walk here and there, but nothing really.

@GetSkinnyAgain If you walk at least 5 km each day, that's a normal physical activity  Good luck

@GetSkinnyAgain
I congratulate you on such a happy and blessed occasion :party::party:
And it is expected that your body has changed. And now it's all about you. Your babies should be the best motivation to lose weight and be a healthy mother. Healthy mother - happy children

Hello dear @GetSkinnyAgain

Did you weigh yourself already? How much did you lose for today?

Hi Everyone,

I used Duromine back in 2018 to help me with my last bit of weight to loose - I only ever had one script.

PREVIOUS STATS

Start Weight: 147kg
Height: 6 foot 1
Current Weight: 114.2
Total Loss at that time: 32.8 kg (over 18 months)

So 2019 was just hell for me, mentally stressful and then 2020 came along. So I ate my stress for about 18 months and put a lot of weigh back on.

So I arrange for my GP to set me up with a dietitian, which is helping with portion control, but I got so frustrated with myself I kept snacking, so I got a new script for Duromine and starting again. Getting back on the bandwagon.

NEW STATS:

Dietitian 1st weigh in 123kg (Followed his rules)
Dietitian 2nd weigh in 119.6kg
Dietitian 3rd weigh in 116.9kg

Started Duromine 4 days ago (13th Nov) so I will weigh myself at my next Dietitian appointment on Wednesday.

I'm hoping this will speed things along a little bit and give me some of the confidence I had back when I initially lost it.

:):)

Hi 10kgtolose,

All I did was removed all processed sugar from my diet. Otherwise I eat pretty much everything, with the occasional cake/choc on special days.

I eat spag boli, pasta, steak, chicken etc, everything made from fresh, and no jar sauces etc and zero processed food, other than ham.

BUT, like I said I lapsed after 18 months of huge effort, and went the complete opposite and just ate every lolly I could get my hands on, I live in the country so I was even mail ordering lollies and put 14kg on. So now I am back on the wagon and just started back on Duromine assist in my next journey.

Cheers
Shelley

Omigosh lollies are my kryptonite! They’re so small! So I’d convince myself they didn’t really count.

Hi 8irdy,

Dry mouth, OMG dry mouth LOL. I am drinking so much water it's insane.

For the first 4 days I got a little bit of a headache, but that was mostly due to forgetting to eat, so keeping meals regular helps that immensely.

Cheers
Shelley

100% understand that, they were my stress cushion and yeah, it was only a few little lollies, then a few more, then a handful LOLOLOL

If I only ate a few tiny ones then they wouldn't have been such a big problem, but it was getting to a bag in one sitting :confused:

Hello ShelleyBris :)
i totally understand, bad foods are so hard to fight huh?
i have battled this my whole life, yes even the head of 'The Slayers' has trouble with bad food
try this method my darling and it may help you.

think of Duromine as a Magic weapon! like 'Harry Potters' wand or having the 'Lord of the Rings' Ring,
or if you are into 'Star Wars', Duromine is like having 'Jedi' powers like having your own Light Saber,
weight loss is mostly about how we think and act in our minds,
and if we learn to use Duromine like possessing a piece of Magic, we can overcome anything

i know this first hand as i have experienced this time and time again,
i'm always around if you have any questions, and the lovely April or miss Stacy B are never far away x

Hugs
Dre

I hope you are ok now? Do you still have a dry mouth?

Hey ShelleyBris,

Glad to see you on the forum!
It's great you've decided to stay away from processed food and cut on sugar. This will make you not only slimmer but healthier and more energetic :p
How long do you plan to take Duromine? Do you have a goal weight?;)

Hi April,

I was am planning on one script, but no more than 2 scripts - spoke to my dietitian and GP last week about it

They say it takes 66 days for a new behavior to become automatic, so that give me a max of 60 days to break my new extreme lolly habit - so far so good, ZERO lollies in the last 20 days , I miss them, but I am OK with that :)

So my main goals are about long term habit forming as well as weight loss:

New habits I need to set
  • Reduce portion size
  • Slow my eating down (I'm a gobbler, and eat really fast) :yum
  • Actually eat breakfast

Weight loss goal for next 4-6 months:
  • 1st goal - 10kg weight loss
  • 2nd goal - 5kg more loss

Absolute goal - get under 100KG

OK, everyone, I fell off the lolly wagon and ate lollies AGAIN !!! BUT, I crawled my butt back on the wagon and thank goodness no weight gain.

EXERCISE - this is the key I'm missing I think, as well as my Dietitian thinks.

But, and this is not an excuse, I have my own business and I work 12 hours a day 6 days a week, I'm exhausted nearly every day, and I can't seem to find time to exercise. My job has me sitting on my arse 99% of the time.

Does anyone have suggestions on trying to add exercise into a day that is so full, AND no gyms here, I live on a property, so no walking on the highway either as trucks fly past at 100 km/hr.

I'm getting desperate, as I'm not loosing weight anymore and I seriously can not reduce my food intake any further (other than no lollies) so exercise is really the only things I'm missing.
