It sounds more like a virus than side effect. I've had the super spaced out happen 3 weeks in but it turned out that my thyroid meds were too high, now that they have been adjusted I havent had that happen again. Sweats during the night also sounds like sick, I sweat more on duro esp when exercising but not like sweats when your sick where you feel cold but are actually hot.
Thankyou so much for your response! Has definitely made me feel more confident continuing on. Xx

So how did you pull up as the week went on?
I felt alot better! I definitely think it was majority of a virus mixed with some side effects.

All went away thank god!!

Hi all, I'm really needing some help /advice. I had no side effects up until day 7 ,only dry mouth.

When all of a sudden I woke up one morning feeling SUPER spaced out, dizzy, almost like my head was floating (best way I can describe it) , I have now had 3 days off work because I'm feeling so unwell. I'm so tired, lethargic, got the sweats throughout the night lastnight and now slept til 2pm today, also now getting slight lingering headache today and off feeling.

I'm starting to feel crazy and cant keep doing this :( I'm about to stop taking my duromine, I can't have it impact my life like this.

My dr thought I might be getting a virus and be genuinely sick as she believe if it were to be side effects they would've come much sooner than a week in.

Has anyone else experience this!? Please help!? :(

I eat e pill once every 2 days cos of e insomnia. I get every of yr symptoms. This side effects r worst if u don't eat . U need to eat something n sweat it out ,it's a must to drink alot of water. N pee out cos e substance is in yr blood. After I get enough sleep den I continue again

I often have to use medication to stop dizziness, I am not a stranger to it, but it looks like the duromine may have triggered it, I'm just not sure why, and why 3 days in. I had 2 days off, which didn't go so well food wise on the 2nd day. Today I have taken 7.5mg and I'll be taking that for
awhile and see how I go.
How long have you taken it for for? How are your results?

I only take once after 2 days. To battle e insonmia. Drink more water n u must eat something. Sleep is vital

One more note, never ever eat e pill with empty stomach. I started eating immediately after I pop one. N my dizziness is lessen. Doctor told me if u worried effects lessen. Pop in and down something after 20-30min ,not an hr  because for those battling dizziness like us, our body is somehow alittle weak for that overwhelming little pill . I've seen many of my frens have no issues tho..

I just started taking duromine 15mg yesterday morning at 07h00 and I have felt terribly ill. I have a constant ringing in my ears, headache but worst of all it's seems that my vision is affected by black spots. I was too scared to take the duromine again today and it is now 16h00 the day after just taking one capsule and I am not feeling any better. I am using an antidepressant called Lexamil 15mg so not sure if that is the issue

So back on 15mg tabs after a 4 month break. Weight has plateaued at 60kg and so asked doctor for just a months supply to kick start the process.

3 days in and still have insomnia, however I also get an odd restless type feeling in my legs and itchy arms when trying to sleep.

Iā€™m taking the 15mg tab at 5am and go to sleep around 11pm so would have expected meds to have lost their efficacy by this time .

anyone else experience similar side effects early on please

Hello darling
welcome back to our beautiful forum, i remember you from last time :)

Insomnia is common when dealing in the magic of Duromine,
however you are on the low strength and it looks like you are taking it at an early time,
are you drinking plenty of water throughout your day?

also exercise is so important, Duromine loves when you exercise!
and this too helps with the sleep issue..

i wouldn't worry too much about the other side effects,
we all have some sort of side effect when using Magic my love :p
in my experience it all comes down to the way we use what we have,
try taking the 15ml every other day?
and remember, this is a very strong weight loss aid so it must be treated with respect.

if you need more advice the lovely 'April' is amazing,
i'm sure she will also reply to this soon so stay strong Sunita and keep the faith.

i'm never far away so feel free to contact me for a chat if you need to x

Hugs
Dre

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Yes back again after a 4 month hiatus. Hopefully only need a months supply to get down to my GW.

on day 5 now and the restless legs and insomnia have virtually gone. Down 1.5k so now at 60.5kg, GW is 57kg.

Question re RAISED HEART RATE. At rest still around 75, but as soon as do some light walking it accelerates to 100-110 according to my Fitbit. No heart palpitations or anything else.. anyone else have a raised heart rate - donā€™t recall this last time, is it normal and will it pass as itā€™s a bit disconcerting and putting me off taking it daily.

If I switch to 15mg every other day, will the weight loss slow down. At the moment Iā€™m losing 0.3kg daily which Iā€™m happy with

i'm no doctor sweety :)
so i can only give you what i have learned over the past 5 years..

heart rate going up is normal, don't stress lol
in fact you will find your blood pressure will be up as well :p
you must remember that when you have 'Harry Potters Wand' in your hand your body will react to the Magic!

if you take Duromine every other day my love you will quickly discover as i did,
the next day you are even stronger than when you were on it!
and it also means you can spread things out a lot longer, if you know what i mean?

trust me, weight loss is a Demon and must be destroyed by Magic!
do whatever it takes, even if it means like you say, heart rate up and loss of sleep etc..

i asked myself a long time ago, what does "Happiness" mean to me?
and if you do the same Sunita, i am sure you will find the answers that you are looking for x

Hugs
Dre

I really hope you went to see a doctor. You generally shouldnā€™t mix medications without checking with one anyway and Iā€™ve heard that some antideps can amplify the chemical in duromine, giving you a stronger hit than intended or perhaps safe. I hope youā€™re ok.

Hi guys, I got prescribed duromine (15mg to start with) by my doctor this morning, she advised me to start taking them tomorrow morning as soon as I wake up. I'm kinda nervous as I have read some bad reviews... what am I in for? :grinning:

I only got a dry mouth with mine :) best of luck!

@larisafox I'm on day 3 of the 30mg, I've noticed dry mouth, and my all-time favorite Pepsi max tastes yuck. I also have had trouble sleeping, but I've always been a bad sleeper.

@larisafox I'm a week in. The first day I struggled to concentrate, but that settled quickly. Apart from the dry mouth, the only other side effect I've had is trouble sleeping, but that's only been for a couple of hours each night, and I'm certainly not at all tired.

Oh, good to know :)

Dear larisafox,

15 mg is the smallest dose of Duromine. You shouldn't have severe adverse reactions with it.
Drink more water and keep us posted about your progress :kissing_heart:
