This is cool , good luck to you. On my first day i have speed movement and till today i will feel more energetic if you continuously move if you relax and think not to bother than your body will change to that mode. Always remember dont let the lazy mind control you ...be alert and make sure you control your body. Think that you are in a war battle and work towards to achieve your dream...

Lavitabella I'm on day 5 and I've also started going to the toilet soon after taking my pill in the morning! I don't mind, it's quite a convenient time, and then I can weigh myself afterwards!

Balance diet is very important . Keep figure out the meal you are taking basicly to avoid constipation and piles. As Dr advice some people will have this symptoms when they keep pushing for more protein diet . The best way to recover this issue is to take 1 glass of prune juice (pure) which can get from any supermarkets. This can put you in safe side and you may consume more protein kind of food.

Lavitabella! Hello, how are you doing? Did the palpitations subside? It is a worrisome side effect.. Hope you are feeling well.

Your day 1 menu… really??? Hope you ate better on Sunday. Skipping bus is a great way to have a good cardio training. Build up the loads gradually and I am sure you will be enjoying the experience.

Have a lovely lovely day!

Hi April! The palpitations are still there but not that strong anymore (thank goodness :) )

I'm still keeping my 1200 calorie diet but i think my food choices aren't that nutritious tho. Might as well search for menus online :)

Hope you'll have a good week ahead! :)

Lavitabella I don't see a single vegetable in your menu yesterday! Maybe try to add a few today. I'm also on 1200 calories but I'm eating mostly protein and veges and fruit with some fat. Almost no processed carbs or sugar. I want to get into good habits for the future.

Hi All. I start 15mg duromine tomorrow. I have read the side effects but I am still looking forward to seeing some results. I have lost 7.7kgs in the last 8 weeks but I still have quite a lot to lose.

Hi everybody!

My name is Tanja and i just began my first try of Duromine at 15mg.

A bit about me, im 38, 164cms and was once 120kg, lost 60kgs with weight watchers 15 years ago. Until last year, i managed to maintain that weight and keep very active. However, i started displaying PCOS symtoms and in 6mths, i gained 16kgs!
Recently had a partial hysterectomy but kept ovaries as the surgeon felt they werent too damaged. After trying almost everything including seeing a dietician and failing Topamax where i gained more weight(dnt go there!) But slowly lost back to 76 when stopped. My GP suggested Duramine.

So here i am! I eat emotionally (seeing a counsellor) and am planning a low carb eating plan to help.

SW- 75.9kgs - 24 AUG 17

Mini goal #1 - 70kgs
Mini goal #2- 65kgs

GW- 60kgs

Good luck everyone and i will keep posting progress!

Happy wedding anniversary!

Update: no side effects so far apart from drinking more water. Took capsule at 7.30am... was kinda expecting to have a sudden burst of energy, but alas, my house has yet to clean itself ;P Though i am a bit more hungry than usual (??).

Hi Daylan.

I just wanted to wish you all the best and let you know how incredible it is that you lost 60kg. It's difficult to even believe, especially as you didn't just lose weight but you became skinny!
I'm 80kg so it's funny that you're big is 70kg but I understand your mentality and think it's great you're on to it early!
My weight got away from me but I was 60/65kg until 18
Months ago!

Good luck! I look forward to your updates!

Hi Daylan! That is… I am not even sure which word to use… amazing! 60 kilograms on your own… Applause!

I wish you all the willpower to fight emotional eating and hope that both counselling and Duromine will help you defeat this issue and lose as much weight as you wish! Keeping my fingers crossed for a successful weight loss journey!

Hungry… try drinking more water… might help, hopefully. Take care

Hi Daisyflower :)

Thankyou for you wishes! It is amazing how we all carry extra weight, i am rather petit so any weight i put on, is noticeable.

I lost that weight when i was a spring chicken and with no pcos. And it was easy with a bit of exercise and weight watchers. Now... sheesh (!!)... busting my chops, strict diet and intense exercise and i gain weight! (Not to mention the lovely acne, facial hair and all the wonderful symptoms of pcos that are so attractive, hee hee)

It is possible, and all the success stories on this forum are so encouraging, i hope Duramine works for you Daisy and me

♡ t

Hey there!
Sorry to hear about pcos. My older sister has it and she's hit with all the side effects too. Not nice at all!

I noticed you mentioned you were hungry still. I found that the 15mg was too weak for me so I took it later in the day around midday so it last till after dinner.

I've just started the 30mg and so far it's much better. I've got insomnia anyway so that's no drama as it's no worse than it was.

I know some people alternate between 15 and 30 each day which apparently helps too.

All the best!
