So, I smoke.. I know, gross, bad all of that and I do intend to quit, was just trying to focus on one thing at a time.. But, day 5 on duromine and for the past 3 days I have noticed I sometimes get quite bad nausea after having a smoke.. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this..

May be the push to quit!

Quit smoking now with Duromine to protect you from weight gain that often follows quitting smokes. Even better to stop now if you're already feeling nauseous when you smoke! What better time to quit? Increased blood pressure can result from smoking OR Duromine - by using both together your heart is getting slammed! Your brain might be sending out nausea signals to discourage the combination?

Wow, even though this is an old post.
I am amazed to hear I am not the only one having these effects.
Smoking is making me ill.
I know I need to stop, and stop having all these crutches in life...

That sounds like a possible reason. Doesn't help when you're trying to stop lol

WowZiz that is a huge increase ! I hope you find that inner strength and motivation to cut down or to quit. I've started to cut down and hopefully I'll be a smoke free person soon.

I started feeling ill, this smoking and trying to live healthy...

So I took a few steps...
No smoking in the house at all... hubby has joined me on this quest.
Got either grapes or lettuce leaves to munch on when I crave a ciggie..
I am now down to 5 ciggies a day (was at 30 a day)... I get annoyed to keep going outside lol.
Soon no more mr nasty smoke smell or taste...

Me too @Kaeani!

For my first few days on Duromine, it was like I couldn't smoke enough - and then because my appetite is gone, I think my the mind was telling me you need something extra in your mouth - hence me smoking more.

Thank goodness this urge has lessened. I have just re-started this week (four month break) and can honestly say, that today I feel that the smoking urge has finally decreased (Day 5)

How far along are you since the start of taking Duromine?
