Hello everyone,
Today is day 5 of Duromine (I took 3 days off Duromine to try and sleep as much as I could to speed up recovery from Glandular Fever). I weighed in officially yesterday, and I was down to 87.3 kg from 89.0 kg!! yay!! but this morning, I re-weighed (I need to stop this daily weighing business lol it's the beginning of a slippery slope for me haha) but I am actually down to 87.0 kg!! THAT'S 2 kg!! YAY!!!!!
I have not been doing much exercise at all yet - when I started, I was experiencing intense fatigue, and then I was diagnosed with Glandular Fever which actually made the fatigue make sense haha. My blood test showed up that I have had Glandular Fever before - possibly when I was very young, as my Mum and I don't remember it (not uncommon for children to not get many if any symptoms). That means that this infection is actually a reactivation of the glandular fever virus due to a run down and unhealthy body/lifestyle. This is definitely a wake-up call!! It's definitely time for me to make permanent changes.
To add to this, my cholesterol last year was within a normal range. My recent blood test showed cholesterol at 7mmol/L (too high).
I am committed to a permanent healthy change. This has to happen. I owe it to myself, to my children, and to my fiancé. My partner and I have finally made a date for our wedding. It's taken so long to put a date to it because we have both been so busy, but putting a date to it means we will make it happen The date is going to be 5th August 2017!! yay!!!
I have also set myself a short term goal of reaching 80 kg by the end of this month.
