Well I have to say I used my deromine for the first time today(15mg)and and first when I just drank it I did not know what to expect I was so scared of “the thirst “ that everyone was talking about I drank 4bottels of a1.5l..will not do that again, could not stay away from the bathroom but I still got hungry I ate my breakfast , eggs and worse in the afternoon I ate a mango and for dinner I ate steak and a little bit of chips for now am still 110 but let’s see what the weak has in store for me​

Hey! Welcome to the forum and to your Duromine journey! You see, you do need to increase your water intake while on Duromine, but it doesn't mean drinking 10 litres of water a day. However, if you weren't a fan of water before and increse the intake, your body does need some time to adjust to the drinking regime. It usually takes about a week, and then you won't be spending half a day in the bathroom anymore.

As to your menu, you should consider changing the chips to freash leafy vegetables. Make a salad and have a piece of lean meat or fish (better grilled, oven-baked, boiled - i.e. cooked without frying or adding additional fats)
Besides, if you have a mango or the like for dinner, you usually can't stay away from the temptation to eat everything you see in the evening. And you're not always hungry when you do so. So please, use an app, like MyFitnessPal, or any other that you find convenient for you, and calculate all you are eating. Don't forget about a single bite.

As for sweet fruits, these make your blood sugar raise sharply, and your body produces lots of insulin, but since these are fast carbs, there still remains a sufficient amount of insulin in your system, and it makes you tired and hungry. That's why most 'dieters' do their best to incorporate fruits in a meal which has slow carbs, like oatmeal porrige, or have them with lean protein, like cottage cheese or plain yogurt. You should make your meals balanced. And maybe avoid stepping on the scales every day, if no loss might make you lose your motivation to continue,

Add some physical activity to boost your metabolism. You don;t need a lot of time for this and you can have some fun with your child - find e.g. Zumba on youtube and dance together. It's fun and a good cardio load. Then, in a couple of weeks, try to switch to Tabata or something like this.

PS. I hope that you're not breastfeeding anymore? You shouldn't use Duromine while breastfeeding. Just checking!

Hi thank you for all your advice I really appreciate it this's things will help me on the path forward...how much water should I drink because am not shore lol..and no am not breastfeeding thank you again for all the advice:laughing:

The best advice is to drink at least 2 litres, and it has nothing to do with the common "healthy" advice. Many people believe that it is a rule that fits all, while it has been widely discussed recently, and many people raise doubts.
However, it is better to drink more than you're used to, when you are on Duromine. For example, if you're having about 1 liter a day, add one more, and see how you feel. Here are signs of dehydration:

  • Bad Breath. Saliva has antibacterial properties, but dehydration can prevent your body from making enough saliva. ...
  • Dry Skin. ...
  • Muscle Cramps. ...
  • Fever and Chills. ...
  • Food Cravings, Especially for Sweets. ...
  • Headaches.
Signs of severe dehydration include:
  • Not peeing or having very dark yellow pee.
  • Very dry skin.
  • Feeling dizzy.
  • Rapid heartbeat.
  • Rapid breathing.
  • Sunken eyes.
  • Sleepiness, lack of energy, confusion or irritability.
  • Fainting.
Make sure that you feel okay and alter your drinking regime, if you notice any of the above manifesting.
